I have one thats 35 years old. Sent the barrel to Mike Orlen last year to have choke tubes installed. He did a great job!! Was going to buy a new shot gun but that ole wingmaster just "fits" me perfect,so now with the tubes it's more versitile.
I have one in 20 gauge that I got when I was thirteen...back in 1972. I traded it to my stepfather when I went to college, and thought he had sold it, but he gave it back to me a few years ago. It isn't going to get traded again and hopefully my son will use it in a couple of years.

My dad has one he bought from his mother-in-laws fathers gun shop in 1965 or so brand new for $85!!!!!!! And he still has it and uses it!!!!! Corn cob style forearm with mod plain barrel.
I know an older waterfowler who still has this old, beatup, 1956 Rem 870 Wingmaster 12ga, and he still nails ducks and geese with it, year after year! The thing is rusted pitted here and there, the stock is all nasty, dented, dinged, and scratched, but it still works.
