Total BS, the BT's get a bum rap from failures that occured 20 years ago, it has since been revamped and made tougher, I run 140 gr. .284 BT's at 3550 fps from a 7mm STW and the last bear I shot with them was shoulder shot and the bullet exited, not any more damage than any other cup/core bullet.
