Default Traditions XLT any good?

I'm buying a new muzzleloader soon. I sold my Optima 209 and I'm planning on getting into an Optima Elite for the centerfire possibilities. I'm considering all my options within my price range though. I'm wondering about a cheaper muzzleloader and a separate rifle. I've talked with Traditions about some of their scratch/dent models that are quite a bit cheaper than retail.

Will the Traditions shoot well? I don't need sub-MOA, but I'd like 1-1 1/2 inch at a 100 yards like I know the CVA's will do.

How about their triggers?

Are they very particular about what you put in them?

Thanks for any information.
