Default HELP; strange cartridge needs identification

I just acquired a used "Custom Shop" TC barrel in 35 whelan...which it isn't. I was rechambered to ???....we took a cast of the chamber...It is a rimmed cartridge.. .525 at rim , base is .475 , shoulder is .460 , neck is .380 and here is the kicker...chamber length is 3.075 , over 3"....looks like a 40degree shoulder.....can some one help.."L"

Sounds to me like a guy bought the Whelan barrel and used it for a wildcat cartridge. Your best bet would be to find the guy that altered the gun if at all possible. If nobody can recognize the dimensions you gave and can point you to a source of ammo, at least you have a frame that should be good for another barrel.

Sounds like it might be a .358X74R / .35 DeVries.
It's based off of the 9.3X74R.

Thank you very much.....went to ammoguide and there it was....358x74R...35 De Vries..................now what do I do with it...

Find someone that loads that catridge, buy the dies and load them yourself, or get another barrel.
