Default Antique Double Gun Experts I need some help

I have in my possesion a side by side smooth bore with hammers and double trigger. It has a swing lever to latch the action closed under the trigger guard. The only markings are various engravings and the name E Whistler II Strand London. Anybody know what I have?

There were a lot of British made doubles imported in the late 1800s.. I am not familiar with that brand..

Lots of good info on Shotgunworld.com...
