Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. Forwarding the link to many.

Unfortunately there are those among us (gun owners and hunters), members here on HNI, that ask why any one would feel the need to carry in places like Little Caesars, Starbucks, restaurants, etc...

It's absolutely crazy that some states don't allow it's citizens to protect themselves.

Wouldn't such a survivor be able to sue the gov't or state if they were lucky enough to survive an attack where the gov't/state restricted the right to protect themselves?

What about felons, ie white collar etc...who can't even keep a firearm in the home?
I guess they say carry pepper spray to protect us from bears, maybe that's the answer? pepper spray for bears and home intruders/murderers?

We need a 50 state concealed carry law which universally applies.

You mean something like what is mandated in article 4, section 1 of the constitution?

Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.

haha exactly!

That may be a grounds too, people just starting to carry...law abiding citizens of course, then would have to appeal it to the higher court, course one would have to probably be wealthy, and on a mission and even then would either be in jail or facing time...

wonder what would happen if all pro-concealed carry people here in IL(where we don't have it) got together for a rally and carried...gonna arrest 1000 carrying people?

Not an excellent video. Whoever produced that could have got alot closer to the mark, IMO.

If this video is intended to promote CCW by trained and law-abiding citizens (which I am ALL for) then they really needed to find some different audio recordings (911 calls) to bolster their point.

CCW has NOTHING to do with being armed in your own home which is where the 2 recorded incidents took place.

When he describes the events that took place at the pizza place he would have done well to mention that if the victim or another citizen had been lawfully CCW the outcome might have been quite different and potential perps would have to guess and think twice about who to attempt to victimize. But the opportunity was there and not seized.

I am sure most of us get the jist of what he is saying/implying. But to others they may not be able to read between the same lines.

Well intentioned? I am sure it was. Hit the target? Maybe a couple holes in the paper.
