new here? inherited 3 rifles ,rem 591 5mm,win 9422-22mag,win 88-308 are these straight shooters are they worth putting back into.The guns have not been fired in over 20 yr.All three have revelation scopes fixed 4 by 32 from western outo 25+yrs. All things concldered the 581,& 88 are about 80 to 85 %, and 9422 maybe90-95%
I'd keep them all, they're all known as quality firearms, now that 5mm Ammo is available once again, it should become one of your favorites. I fed the family with a 5mm back in the early 80's, carried it everywhere.

Those are nice scopes for the buck. I have couple of them on my guns. Love the one on my 270 with the ballistic cross hairs.
I'd go 4x on the 22 mag, and 308, would opt for 3x9 on the 5mm. for 5mm ammo, I'd buy a box here and there local till ya found it on sale, then buy all you can afford. check midway, cabela's, mid south shooters supply, etc.
