Default Scope, rings/bases for Model 70- 375RUM

I have a Model 70 that has been rebarreled to 375RUM, the scope base holes have been drilled and tapped to 8x40.. I plan on using a Leupold 1.75x6x32 scope with Talley rings/bases.. Just wondered if anyone has tried this combination and what your opinion is..

Thank You!!!!!!!

With a hard hitter like that, I might opt for something more beefy like the badger or A.R.M.S.

Well the 1.75x6 is a pretty lightweight scope so there would be less inertia, and the talleys are on DGR so ..I would definitely stay with the Talleys....Badgers are fine mounts and rings but belong on tactical or beanfield rifles with over 20 ounce scopes mounted in them.

PS I would recommend burris signature rings because they put on a death grip but they dont' come in a low height and that scope should be mounted low... Another good choice is Conetrol
