Default I need a new bullet......

I just bought a new scope for my mod 70. I have been shooting 180gr factory Remington PSP in 30/06 for some time with good results. However, I want to be able to " reach out" to farther targets without the big drop. Should I drop to 165gr?

What are you 06 guys shootin? Their are quite a few bullet choices. What has worked for you?

I always shot 150 grain bullets out of a 30-06 and 308. Never had any problems with them.

165 gr for the best retained energy and least drop over longer ranges.

If your not gonna reload go check out the Hornady factory ammo in 165gr. I have always used 150gr till a couple of years ago and i cant safely say the 165gr are more accurate out of my model 700. The 165gr is a perfect match for 30 cal bullets.
