standard I think is 24" some have 26" I know guys who have had rem. 600's in 222 rechambered to 22-250 (18.5" barrels), they lose a bit of velocity but shoot well, only they lose 150 fps or so of mv.
RR
I think that Savage 10 predator comes in a 22" if your looking for a production rifle, I looked at that when I was looking into my Coyote gun but I ended up going with a Remington 700
I would think a short barreled 22-250 would be pretty loud...

A golf course is a willful and deliberate misuse of a perfectly good rifle range.
I think it would depend on what you wanna do with it, I think if I wanted a short barrel for closer range yotes, etc...ie under 300yds I'd get a 22" in a .223 Rem.
If I wanted a long range varmint setup or for yotes out further I'd get a 26" and use the extra speed of the .22-250rem., or a .243win.
