Default Remington VTR

Does anyone else in here have a Remington VTR?
I got a .223 in digital camo a couple months ago and love the gun. It's a tack driver at 200yards. I haven't been able to do much more beyond that as I'm still trying to find it's favorite load.
It really likes Sierra matchking 52 HPs and Sierra Blitzking 55gr.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone else's gun is scratching the shell as you slide the bolt forward and move the shell from the mag to the barrel.
A buddy has a .204 he got last summer and it's doing the same thing.
I tried to get a pic of it to post but it's hard to take a picture of brass without getting a ton of glare.
Wondering what I should do about it because I'm not that happy and I have $700 in this gun. I used a little 0000 steel wool on the sharp internal lip that's doing it but it didn't do much to help. I guess I will call Remington and see what they say.
