Default .17 hmr

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if $250 was a good price for a ruger .17 HMR?
My friend was asked me if i wanted to buy it off him for this much?

You didn't give us a model so I'm going to assume that its the 77/17. My recommendation is buy the darn thing before he wants $400. Bottom line is you're going to get quality if you buy ruger. I have a ruger 270 and its a great gun. So I say again, buy the darn thing. If you see it and it looks beat to hell then you may second guess it.

I don't have a clue.

For anyone to give you any feedback, at minimum they will need

model and SS or blued, wood stock or plastic
condition
scope/mounts/rings etc. yes or no

Condition would help also; but let's face it, $250 Ruger .17 HMR any model is a good buy !

That price for any top of the line commercial .17HMR is OK, ....... as long as it's not in parts.
