Im a big lever action fan, plus a .45 is one of my favorite rounds to shoot. My main problem is how expensive they are.

I too think this would be a great self defense gun, assuming it reliable. Especially with kids sleeping in other rooms.

But for any gun to be deemed home defense, I need to be able to mount a light on it.
