looking for scope bases for win. 88

hi , does anybody know of a source for scope bases to a winchester model 88 ? i' ve looked at cabelas , bass pro shops , even midway and haven' t found them ( unless i' ve just overlooked them ) , any ideas ??

Leupold makes them for the 88...

Yep.........

Leupold & Weaver are the only ones making bases for the Models 88/100.

My recommendation would be to get the Weaver bases & use the Burris Signature Zee rings. I have this setup on my Model 100 and I love the rings!

The Winchester 88 was my first hunting rifle in .308. I had a Weaver 4X scope with Weaver Rings and Bases. I think they also made some in .243 caliber.

I did a little on-line searching for those Weaver bases...................they' re getting hard to find. The part # is the Weaver #53 1 piece base. I found them at the following places:

Weaver also makes see-thru munts/rings for the 88/100 and they can be found on some of these sites as well.
