Default Wow! The Remington 30 AR Cartridge

They finally did it! Remington joined the "hey lets build yet another worthless cartridge so we can sell OUR gun" crowd

What were the friggin odds?

well the 30 AR will give 7 million AR-15 owners the option of using those super accurate gas guns for deer hunting, I would have allready bought one but I have a 25 wssm and a 458 socom for big game hunting with my AR's.

you cant get an ar15 chambered in 300savage or any similar 308 cal. except a 30 AR, fills a niche id say for AR15 (not the heavier AR10 version) owners who want a step up in power, but who knows weather it takes off or not .

Was there a niche that needed to be filled? I believe there is a big difference between a niche and a fad....

cut'em, if there was a niche that needed to be filled before a cartridge was introduced, we'd all be using a 243 or a 30/06. Its a 30 cal and works in an AR, it'll sell. if you don't like it don't buy one, but alot of folks have.
