Default Trigger system for a Rem VTR

I have two questions:

I had my remington trigger changed out about 8 years ago on my Sendero. I just bought a VTR and was looking to change out the trigger system so I can adjust it LIGHT.

First is what trigger system do you guys prefer and is it hard to change out the trigger system yourself or should you have a smith do it?

Thanks in advance

Timney works good...can't really speak for others. Changing oughtn't be too hard...if I remember right, it's just a couple pins that hold the assembly onto the receiver.

Define LIGHT.

Also what do you plan to do with the rifle?
Paper punch from the bench?
Prarrie dogs, ground hogs, coyotes?
Big game hunting?
A little of all of the above?
