Default Need some help

My buddy suffered a stroke last May and as a result, he has lost the feeling on his right side of his body. He can move his arm and leg of that side, but can't feel a thing. He was a right-handed shooter, but now is trying to learn left-handed shooting so he can feel the trigger. Looking for him a easy to operate deer rifle. Was thinking about an H&R in a .243. Any suggestions?

How about a Ruger #1. This would be more expensive, but probably easier to operate since there is no hammer to c**k.
