Default questions for Ar users

I am getting ready to buy another Ar. I can not believe how cheap the extra stuff is. When i had mine the quad rails where 400 bucks and hard to find. a good vertical grip was a 100 bucks. Seems everything has dropped now. I am leaning toward one of the 308 dpms or the r25 from remington as it will be a hunting rifle aswell. My question is can i have a bipod installed on the forearm and a vertical handgrip as the same time pr do they get in the way of each other.

You need a bottom rail in order to mount both of them. It would be best to buy a forend tube with the rail already installed/intergral. That way you can install the accs yourself. They shouldn't get in the way of each other when properly installed.

I've seen just what you're talking about, and with a quad-rail free-float tube it shouldn't be a problem unless it's a short barreled M4 style rifle with a very short handguard. If this is the case, I've seen multi-rail gas blocks that could accommodate the bipod with the vertical fore end grip on the handguard itself. The great thing about the AR platform is that there are a nearly unlimited number of ways to configure them.

Which reminds me that I have a stripped Rock River lower to build on... but too many irons in the fire to start that project. I bought the stripped lower early this year to have a "grandfather" gun in case Dear Leader Maobama and his Party Kommittee henchmen (Pelosi/Reed et al) got serious about AWB version 2.0. Fortunately, they are actually pragmatic enough to not attempt such political folly twice, despite their ideological compulsion to strip us of our rights... but I digress...

so basicly a 18 inch or 20 dpms with the quad rail will hold both. Any recommends as to which quad rail i go with. I wanted the sass but it seems i can add the extras and safe money by buying the 1,000 .308 18inch or 20 inch barrel ar.
