Totally agree, but you take one of your kimber sporters with 1.5" or less scope hieght, and then take one of your tactical's with probably badger or ARM rings sitting 2"-2.5", at 500 yards I see a huge difference.
But 200yards, your correct. I know "as usual"

But in this case, I am betting a whole lot of OE in more ways than one.
