Default 44 spl

I just got a Taurus .44 spl. It was regularly 440.00 and I saw it for 240.00. Not really any reason but I thought it would be a good buy. Does anyone have any reviews good or bad. 2" barrel Steel 5 shot.Ã

I had one and really liked it. I sold it in order to buy a Taurus 357 Mag. I have been kicking myself ever since. Not that there is anything wrong with the 357, but I miss the 44.

I personally consider that among the finest defence guns a going! I wouldn' t give you a dime for a shovel full for hunting however.

Sounds like a good buy.
My carry gun is a .44 spl. and I love it. It has everything I need without the noise of a magnum.

I' d say it' s a great gun, other than I have no use for a 2" bbl, great for a p-defense weapon, but not much else. The .44spcl loaded in that gun would be a decent deer gun even, if it had a longer bbl, that stubber doesn' t give it much more premise than a p-defender, but, if that' s what you want for it, pick it up before someone else does!!!

I am using it for a carry gun and a hime defense gun. I really like the way it shoots and with never shooting a 44 mag. I do not have anything to compare it to but it shoots great..
