Default Sight in help 7mm mag

What do you guys reccommend sighting in a 7mm mag at. I mainly hunt whitetails and max shot might be 150. Not sure what the best range to dial her in at. Shootin 150 grain factory loads. Thanks

How bout dead on at 100. Not too much elevation change from the 7mag, that will still have you in the kill zone at 300yds. Depending on what game I'm playing, I'll sight in at 200 or 300.

I would zero at 200 yds, that should put you about 1.5 inches high at 100 and about 7 inches low at 300.

sight in at 400 yds since your only shooting 100 yds.
serious, what kind of question is this.

Ditto. I think you answered yourself with the "my max range is 150" just sight the thing in for 100yds. It's a 7mm Vs. Whitetail for crying out loud. The concussion alone will kill the deer.

If most of your shots are at 150 yards, then why not zero in at 150 yards.

I like what snuffnra said. 1.5 inches high will leave you good out to about 250 yards.

I concur you answered your own question. Sight in 0 to +1 at 100.
