TC encore rifle question

Just got 7mm 26" rifle barrel for my encore. Im going to mount the scope this week and had a question about rings. Has anybody ever mounted see thru or high rings on these guns. I heard that high rings will cause the scope to hit you in the eye on the encore. Is there any truth to this or am I ok to mount those type of rings. THanks

I have a high set of Leupold Rings on my .300 mag barrel no issues...the only reason I could see you getting hit is if the scope was back to far.

Dont know about see-throughs.
