Maybe I' m missing something here? Wouldn' t it be easier getting a new key made?Unless of course you lost your last key.Any locksmith could make you a new key even if you lost all of them.To me that would be the sensible way to get a new key.

The keys for Homak safes are like those for a pop machine.....they are like a hollow cylinder. Any good locksmith could probably do it, but because these types of keys are often used for security and vending I think most locksmiths would need proof that you are the owner of the " appliance" .
I was checking the price Homak wants for the replacement keys.....they must be made of silver or something.

I had a locksmith make a back-up key for mine. I think I paid $5. No questions asked.......

clattin,
Good to know. I incorrectly assumed that it might be an issue.....
$5 beats the heck out of what Homak was asking

I' ll say one thing Homak must be really proud of their keys. You better keep your Homak keys under lock and key at that price.I' m not really familar with Homak safes but that' s kinda expensive for a key for a inexpensive safe.
