Default Can someone tell me about my gun?

Can someone please explain to me about my Winchester Model 70 "Lightweight"?

I cant hardly find any information on it (When it was made..how many were made..etc).

Please can someone help me. Thank You

Introduced around 1984, pretty much standard calibers. machine cut checkering. Stock is slimmed down, no monte carlo, reduced pistol grip. As far as value, who knows. I'd take it over a standard model 70 of that era just because different stock. Book value says 300-400, but I say BS on that. Maybe check around on gun broker and see if any have sold. There was also a short lived carbine model around that same time that had a 20" barrel I believe. Both would make excellent hunting rifles in my opinion. Probably had a little competition from the featherweight.
