Introduced around 1984, pretty much standard calibers. machine cut checkering. Stock is slimmed down, no monte carlo, reduced pistol grip. As far as value, who knows. I'd take it over a standard model 70 of that era just because different stock. Book value says 300-400, but I say BS on that. Maybe check around on gun broker and see if any have sold. There was also a short lived carbine model around that same time that had a 20" barrel I believe. Both would make excellent hunting rifles in my opinion. Probably had a little competition from the featherweight.
