Default putting a scope on pistol

I have a S&W .44 mag with a 8 3/8 barrel and i wanna put a scope on it. It 's not tapped and drilled and i was wondering about what it costs and where would I get it done at?

if it has a vent rib I think you can buy rings to clamp to the rib

If it is a recently made revolver you need to remove the rear sight and install a base to the holes there.

I'll check that out. It's about a 3 years old revolver. Someone told me it needed to be tapped and drilled that's why I thought that but this would be easier. Thanks for the help!

B-Square is probably going to be your best bet for that kind of scope base. I just got one for my Ruger .22 revolver. They work wonderfully.
