First time cleaning having some trouble (I got it but dont know how to delete)
so yesterday I bought a Remington 700 30-06. I bought the cleaning supplies this morning. some one told me to clean it before I shoot it and after every shot for the first 5 shots to break in the barrel
I am having trouble getting the cleaning patch through (did not want to force it.) the brush fits so does the jag but not the jag with a patch the brush took a little force.
the rod is for 27-45 cal
the brush is 30 cal
patches are 30-44 cal
I cant find the box for the jag to confirm but will keep looking
also tried it with out the bore guide and it still did not fit
