Default H&R 20 gauge 3"

I found a H&R 20 gauge 3" with a modified barrel for $69. I realize that a 12 gauge semi-auto would be better for my daughter to hunt turkeys, pheasant and shoot trap but I don't even shoot one. What do you guys think? Barrel was clean... seemed in good condition.

That was my first gun when I started hunting. I think its a good choice for a beginner hunter. Its safe and simple to use and that 20g is enough to take down pheasants and turkeys... I took many growing up. I believe the single shot make you a better shooter and how to make that one shot count.

Im glad my dad decided that for my first, because a few years later, my Ithaca mod. 37 waiting under the tree that morning made me realize how far I came shooting and small game hunting.

...and for $69.... GET IT!

**I handed down my old H&R single to my kid and I hope the tradition continues.
