Default Boresights

Last year some dirtbag at the range stole my LaserLyte boresighter. The lowlife didn't even bother to steal the arbors for it. He just lifted the laser while I wasn't looking. Anyway, I'm going to buy another one and the sportsmans guide has it for $34.97 (member price $31.47). They also have a magnetic one from Sightmark that doesn't need arbors for $39.97 (member price $34.97). Has anyone ever used one of these magnetic boresight lasers?

Sucks sorry to hear that. Do you really need a bore sighter?

With a bolt rifle I've always gotten on paper with the first shot by looking down the bore. With lever guns and semi-auto I just use a large piece of paper and only once have I not hit the paper.
