Default How hard to change out the barrel??

I was wanting to get a target barrel for my Ruger 10/22, but was not sure how hard it was to change out?? Is there any gun smithing involved or can I do it myself??

Default RE: How hard to change out the barrel??

It usually only takes a few minutes and an allen wrench. There are a few instances where you might have to do a little fitting of the extractor groove but that isn' t too difficult.
