Default Went to gun show and saw a number of 22' s

The 22-45 was a nice feeling gun with adj sights, 5 1/2 inch bull barrell and a great price at $209 new. They had a few new, but older model Buckmarks for $300, which seemed high, but the guy said list is $400 on them. Also looked at a MK II Ruger with the Bull barrell for $260 new. He also had a few SW for $200 brand new, saying they were shot show demos. Reg price is $300 for them. Overall, I liked a lot of them and the prices at the show were good, but I am waiting to give the guy with the BuckMark for $190 a chance to fix the gun. He said he would work on it over the weekend to see if he could figure out what was wrong. If he can' t, I think i will take the Ruger 22-45. It felt good in my hand, and other than the composite body (not sure if this is good or bad), the gun is a great value at $209.

The list price for a buck mark is crap. Mine was $239 thirteen years ago. They are only $260 new today. This guy is yanking your leg.

Tealboy, You have been busy looking. I would go with the Ruger 22/45. You said it feels good and for 209.00 you would be getting a brand new gun.Ruger stands behind their products.Their customer Service is second to none.Probably the reason that used Buckmark is at the pawn shop there was problems with it.I always if at all possible buy new.Good luck in your choice.

Just to give you an idea of prices. These are MSRP and can be easily found for lower prices.BM 5.5" Field 482.00,BM 5.5" Target 482.00,BM Standard 441.00,BM Challenge w/5.5 bbl 336.00,BM Classic Plus w/rosewood grips 368.00.That' s just some of them.Go to Browning' s site and dig in deeper.
