Those are both pretty tough bullets and for deer both should work fine. If I had to chose between the two I would go for the Accubond. Still take a look online you might fine some cheaper then at the store even with shipping and save some money.

I'd lean in the direction of the 110 grain Accubond, unless the accuracy is poor (>2" at 100 yards from a stable benchrest).

When I bought my 257 Wby, I did so because I handload. My rifle has not, and likely never will fire a factory load. The loads my gun shoots great is a 100 grain Barnes Tipped TSX, 71.0 grains IMR 7828 with a Federal Gold Medal Match LRM primer. The cases are necked down 270 Wby cases. Average accuracy is right at 1/2 MOA. Don't know for sure the velocity (chrony's still broken), but with the 26" bbl it should be in the ballpark of 3550 fps. It's should be a 350 yard+ deer killing machine. I can't wait to hunt with it.

At 500 yards you won't know the difference, what you must look out for is those 40 yard raking shots, thats whats hard on bullets. I shoot deer out to beyond 1000 yards with a hot 7mm wildcat, at longer ranges I could use any accurate bullets and have the same results. Its the chance of having to shoot a buck of a lifetime at 50 yards that keeps me using the accubond. when pushed hard by a hot magnum, it will hold up better than a partition. If you rupture the H-mantle in a partition penetration stops cold, the accubond may become a tangled mess of lead and copper but it penetrates as long as there is energy to push it.
