Can anyone verify the Obama actually said the above?

This is supposedly related to the proposal to require
Veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540
Million annual cost to the federal government of treatment

I received this in email and am absolutely floored! I have to know if this is true.

I haven't heard this either. watch Fox news if it is something he said they will air it unlike the other stations who sweep everything under the rug for him. To be fair even some of those such as CNN and MSNBC are starting to express their concerns in our new leader. Even when you listen to everything he says you still walk away scratching your head asking what the He!! was that? He answered a question that wasn't asked and didn't answer any questions directly that were asked.

I can say without a doubt that is is not true. It it were true it would be on the DAV, American Legion and VFW websites and it is not there. Snopes has put the lie to several vicious lies told idiots who want to weaken US military morale. All kinds of vicious lies are making their way over the web.

I can't tell you whether or not Obama said it but I am ashamed to tell you that the proposed bill was authored by Ted Kennedy from "The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts."
