A friend of mine named his male dogs Glock and Winchester. Seriously though depends on how hardcore/historic you want to get. Would you be willing to name your boy after Joyce Hornady or Steve Primos?

I have known kids to be named Remington and Winchester.

How about Charlton after Charlton Heston?

Of course you always have Hunter. Maybe Dusty?

LOL. Needs to be interesting and maybe semi-normal. Hunter is just too common.

I've thought of Trigger but sounds like a dog's name.

How about Colt or Henry ? I think Colt would be a good name especially with a good middle name.

How about Gunner? A friend of mine's boy has that name. I don't care for it, but it's not too strange, either.

The only other one that comes immediately to mind is "Buck." I don't know about you, but I don't like that one either. When we named our kids we considered more the effect that name would have on their future, the cruelty of kids, etc... I love hunting and guns, but not enough to inflict a silly name on one of my kids.
