Default Browning BPS

I'm thinking about buying a BPS that I can get for about thesame price as a 870. I have a 870 but dont know much about the BPS. Anyone have anything they could tell me about them.

Reminds me a lot of the model 37 Ithica with the bottom ejection . Not a bad gun but I prefer the 870 myself . I owned both of them at one time but never used the Browning much.

Love mine. Replaced and Ithaca 37 with the BPS and never looked back. Great shotguns.

I would jump on the deal. IMO the BPS is better built and stronger than the 870. I replaced an 870 with a BPS as my turkey setup and have been very pleased.

The 870's a good solid gun but it's not in the same league as the BPS.

I strongly recommend the bps.Its a nicely built shotgun and I really like the bottom ejection.

I own both a BPS and an 870. I will take the BPS every day and twice on Sunday.

The fit and finish on the BPS is far superior to my 870 Wingmaster. Both always go boom when you pull the trigger so for me it came down to asthetics.

One thing I really do like is the bottom eject. In the blind you aren't continually throwing empty hulls at the guy to your right

Totally agree. I also have both. But I do have trouble operating the tang safety. I am so used to an index finger safety on golds, and auto-5's, the tang messes me up. I imagine if a fella grew up with a tang safety, it would be the cats meow.
