Default bought me a new toy.

Well i almost bought my tc triumph yesterday. But i bought another toy. I picked up a ruger 10/22 yesterday bought a a cheap scope i think it is a bsa or bsd can not remeber. All in all a nice gun. Gander mountain mounted and bore sighted the scope for me. i paid 220 for the wood stock model. Which i am sure was high but i called 4 walmarts 2 did not sell guns, one was out of them, another said they where removed from there system and they would not get anymore in.

The 10/22 is still one of the best values out there in my opinion! It's a hell of a lot of fun for 200 bucks and cheap to shoot. The 10/22 is one of the guns in my safe that will always be there. Congrats on the new gun!

Here is one I bought in 1997.I started to sell it awhile back, but decided to hang on to it.
It has the Hammer Forged Barrel on it,and is very accurate.

My first was a 10/22.I've had it 20yrs now.I put a cheapo Tasco on shortly after I bought it.Not very clear or sharp but it shoots surprisingly well with it.Summer shooting caused the turret caps to expand and they're lost now plus both ends need to be re-tightened regularly.I could just apply some lock tite but my old friend deserves something better.I think you'll soon come to the same conclusion with the BSA.
Enjoy!!!!

got to say guys i love the gung. Gander bore sighted it but i think it is alittle low and to the right. Which might be due to me being left eye dom. i am going to go this weekend to the range and try and get it dead on. Bad thing is i think it will be on for me but off for everyone else since i will need to move it to comp. For using my right eye. Maybe one day i will go lefty but i doubt it.
