Default Thompson Center Venture

Is this a good gun?
Im looking for a new deer rifle and i can get this rifle for 100 cheaper than a savage 111.

Looks good to me. But it is way too soon to know how it rates against the Savage, which has a good rep. for accuracy. The Venture is too new on the market,

I'd stick with the Savage and let the Venture get more "time out in the real world".

I bought a venture last week and I am very very impressed. Thompson isn't lying when they advertise MOA accuracy. I am shooting better than 1 inch groups with factory ammo. It is unreal that you can buy a rifle that cheap that shoots that good. Thompson just changed the game with this rifle, unreal.
