Default H&K USP Compact 40 Value?

I have a chance to pick up a H&K USP compact 4o used and was wondering what you guys would be willing to pay for one. The gun is in good condition with about 400 rounds down the tube.

Also, for those of you that are H&K shooters how would the gun compare to a subcompact XD40 or a sub glock? I have both of these in a 40, but have never handled an H&K.

Thanks
BJ

My on duty firearm is the full size USP in .40 S&W and really don't care for it, I shot the compact version and it fits me better but I still don't care for it. They are very well made, but I carry a Glock 23 off duty and I love them Glocks

They are very well built guns, and they shoot great, but they don't fit my hand very well and have too many "gadgets" for my taste. I've owned an H&K USP 45, and I's rather have my XD any day. I like the rugged simplicity of the no manual safety, point-n-click handgun.

As for value, I'd think that if it was in like near perfect shape it'd be worth at least in the $500-550 range. Maybe a little more. I guess it's really a matter of how much you are willing to spend. New USP are expensive handguns, and they are generally expensive used. If you're buying from a private party, you can either figure out the most you'd want to spend and make an offer, or ask him what his bottom line is.
