Default Savage 11FXP3 VS Savage 11FCXP3

The only real differences are the bolt and trigger, if im reading correctly.
Is the bolt and accutrigger worth the extra 100 dollars?

My dealer has the savage with the accu trigger and other little goodies for 446 and the base model for 335. Is it worth the extra 110?

Yes, I would definitely pay extra for the Accutrigger. I've read many threads on this site that state the regular Savage triggers are terrible and not adjustable.

If you want a Savage, I recommend getting one with the Accutrigger and new Accustock. I think you'll be much happier over the long run. Most combo deals do not come with very good scopes, and the new Accustock is getting some good press.

I would spend the extra and get the accutrigger. Make sure you get a new one with the accustock as wolverine says it has gotten really good reviews and the previous Savage synthetic stock is junk. I have a 270 and replaced the synthetic stock with a wood stock because the synthetic flexed so much.

I would pay the extra for the accu trigger. As stated earlier get the '09 model with the accu stock.

You'll be just as happy, if not happier with the TC Venture. It offers several features such as a 3 locling lug bolt which means 60 degree bolt lift, scope base built right in integral, among other features which are nice that the Savage rifles don't have.
