Default Tikka! I got one!

Now I just need some rings and a good scope. Any recommendations? Are these good rings?

Thanks Treedog. I picked it up in 7mm Rem Mag. I already have a 7 that I just sold tonight after I bought the new one. Already have all the dies, powder, bullets, etc. so it just made sense to keep the same cal. Plus they don' t make the Tikka in but 7mm, 300 Win, and 338 Win in the magnum series.

I just found a Leo. 3.5-10x50 matte scope for $450. I think that' s what I' ll buy so I' m back to 1" rings it looks like. Can' t go wrong buying a Leo. scope.

I checked out a lot of rings before I dicided on the right ones for my Tikka.
I went with Warne (vertical split). They are the most solid mounts I have found.
Millet also makes rings but IMO the Warne are better.

The easy answer is simple, buy the Tikka rings. Yes they are expensive but they are the best. I have tried Millets, Weavers, Burris, none were close to the quality of the Tikka rings. You could also look search the history as this subject comes up every couple months.

Thanks for the replys. Where can I buy the Tikka rings? Should my local dealer be able to get them? I think I saw the Warne rings too and they looked good. I' ll check them out too.

If you have trouble finding them locally, check out www.tjgeneralstore.com. They have Sako and Tikka mounts. I' ve made several orders from them and have been happy with their service.
