Default Shotgun question???

I am wondering if a remington 870 is worth $275 used??? It will shoot the 3.5 inch shells, I own two mossbergs one is a 500 and the other is the maverick 88, now I know the 88 is supposed to be a cheaper made gun but I do not have any issues with it but I have had all kinds of jamming upon ejection, and feeding problems with the 500. I clean all my guns throughly, using spray cleaners, q-tips, tooth pics, and of course a bore snake. I have taken it to a gunsmith and he has told me the gun is clean and working flawlessly. I am shooting 6oz shot, mostly federal (red box), occasionally I will go and buy some winchester that is on sale but always 6oz shot, oh ya lead shot! Any ideas???

sounds good to me, but this is really a matter of what shape the gun is in on inspection.

870's are a well made gun.

Well I just got an answer in the mail about the 870 Cabelas has them on sale for 269.99 right now so I would have to say that a used one would not be worth it especially seeing as there normal price is around 330 bucks, personally I think I would rather pay the extra 50-60 bucks to buy something that no one else has handled or mishandled. How about tri-star they have a semi-auto on sale for 339???

I'd bet Cabelas doesn't have one that will shoot 3 1/2 inch mags for 269. If it shoots 3 1/2 inch mags and it is in good shape it is woth 275 all day. The best deal you can get on a new 12 gauge 3 1/2 inch is 355 plus your FFL charge. The best you wil find at a styore will be around 399 plus tax.

You can't go wrong with an 870.

I just looked at the flier and you are right it is the 3 inch for 269 but the 3 1/2 is going for 289.

If you can get it for 289, I'd be on it like a duck on a june bug.

Which store is the flier for? I think I would be interested in one also.
