Default Magazine extension recommendation

Hey all...1st post here, looking for some input. I recently purchased a Remington 870 Express 12 gauge (18" barrel) with a mag capacity of 4 shells. Which magazine extension would you recommend? I don't mind spending a few extra bucks for something of good quality and ease of installation. Thanks.

Choate makes a dandy +2 all steel extension complete with spring. It's priced very reasonable too. here's a link to what it looks like even though they're out of stock as usual. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tNumber=175569

First off, welcome to the forums. Lots of good people here with a lot of knowledge.
As to your question, if you intend to use the gun for hunting, you might want to check your local game laws. Here in Pennsylvania it is illegal to hunt small game with a shotgun that has the capability to be loaded with more than three rounds unless the magazine is plugged to limit its' capacity to one in the chamber and two in the magazine......I guess for home defense, it doesn't matter, tho......

Thanks for the replys. I'll be using it for home defense. I'll check into the Choate extension.
