Or you just look at similar stuff on gunbroker to get a ballpark price. Personally I wouldn't pay over $4-600(depending on condition, drill holes, etc), but them things have gone up a good bit since winchester went broke a couple years ago. I picked up a 98% post 64 for $125a couple months ago out of the local classifieds, but everyone I tell about it says that was the deal of the century. You might not do bad to takethe $800 offer. That sounds pretty high to me, but definitely check gunbroker to make sure you dont get screwed. Also be sure to see which ones are selling, lots of people post stuff on there with very high prices looking for a sucker. The guns with a few bids will be the real going price.
