Default springfield xd or ruger sr9??

looking at buying either one of these guns, in 9mm. Any suggestions or preferences anyone has would be appreciated. Also, what is the difference between the xd and the xd(m)???

I shot them both when I was looking and got the s&w m&p! All of these are fine pistols, get the one that fits you best. The m&p pointed like a finger for me.

The SR9 feels better in my hand so I would pick it over the XD.

I would personally take the SR9, but I'm a ruger guy and I love the feel of that pistol. Both are great, and you can't really go wrong with either. Find the one that feels the best and that's what I'd go for.

I have shot an XD and held a SR9 and they feel completely different go and hold both and see which feels better in your hand and which has a natural point of aim for you.

The XDM has a few more feartures like a match barrel and a thumb safety on the 45.

alright, thanks for the help. I've noticed there seems to be more guns in .45 Is this a better round? How does the ammo price compare to 9mm?

I'd take the XD, no doubt. I love Ruger Revolvers, but I'm not a fan of their semi-auto pistols.

Go with the XD. Not a big fan of Ruger's auto pistols.
