Peep sight that fits Weaver mounts?

I' m a big believer in having back-up sights in case the scope goes bad, gets bashed, etc. (Drives me NUTS that so many rifles today are only offered with smooth barrels!) Here' s what I' m looking for: a peep sight that fits into my Leupold QR bases (Weaver style). Then all I need is to get a ' smith to mount a front sight and I' m in business.

Someone at the range told me he recently saw such a rear peep sight, but couldn' t remember where. Do any of you fellow shooters know where I can find such an item?

Thanks for the advice, but I have a Brownells catalog, and didn' t see anything like that in there.

I just saw the sight you are talking about in the last Midway catalog. It was with the Williams peep sights.

If you are looking in the Brownell' s catalog or at their on-line site, look at the Ashley Backup Rifle Sight, stock # 006-105-000 or 006-105-001.

Before I went to the midway site I was thinking about puting a peep on my .444 Marlin. I think I' ll save my $125 though. Dang those things are expensive!
