Default Franchi I 12, any good?

I have been reading about the franchi i-12, 24 inch barrel but have found very little on the gun. It appears to be a good turkey gun, but also, a good all around gun in terms of specifications.

However, i need to get better iniput regarding the quality of the gun, workmanship, it's operating system, etc. I am not familar with this brand.

any help would be appreciated.

They are a pretty good model. It is Inertia operated and is about as easy as it gets for cleaning. They also go longer periods between cleanings but, are not the best models for light target loads. Theey are made with pretty good quality and are about average in weight for a 3" auto loader. They do have good features like an automatic magazine cutoff and shims to adjust their stock for a better fit.

For more reviews on this model you can get it out here.

I forgot to comment on the franchii-12 on your thread on the turkey hunting forum.I'm pretty surethe franchi is a lot like aBenelli. Like Worc said it has the Inertia system. I could be wrong but I'mguessing that the i-12 is a lot like the Benelli M2 with a lower price tag (I have not compared them side by side) just my educated guess. I believe if you go on theBenelliusa website you will find a link to Franchi onthe bottom of Benelli's webpage. I hope this helps good luck!!
