Ya, if you don't want it i'll take it! They are all but indestructableand as much of a standard as the 10-22 and Mark II/III. They are great for plinking, snakes, rabbits, etc. I carry something similar when I'm out in the woods and wish it was a Ruger.

The Ruger Super Single Six convertible and other models of the Single Six are THE finest made .22 single action revolvers on the market bar none. Hopefully yours is the adjustable sight, convertible cylinder (.22 S,L,LR/.22 mag) model.

Best of luck with it. It's been on my wish list for years.

Had one years ago and it was a blast to shoot. Accurate enough for most purposes and fairly indestructable. It travelled all over with me and killed a few squirrels along the way.

I never could get decent groups with the .22 magnums. I tried every brand of ammo I could find and it just never shot right. Plus, for what you pay for .22 magnums you may as well shoot .38's.

Enjoy your new pistol.

Yep they seem to be nice guns from everything I've seen about them. I'd really like to have one.

I bought myself one for my 50th birthday, when they were celebrating their 50th anniversary of the gun (2003). I didn't buy the anniversary model though .. I bought one in stainless with the 6" barrel, adjustable sights and the mag combo cylinder.
It is a joy to shoot and clean. You can never go wrong with a Ruger pistol ...

You've got yourself a keeper. I can't add much about the Single-Six that hasn't already been said here. If I'm hunting with a .22, chances are it's my Single-Six. It's fun, it's stone cold reliable, and it's plenty accurate.

Enjoy!
