Default Took the 17 hmr out, took a few pics.

Nothing to do today so i shot a few groups out of my Marlin 17vs. Estimated range of 35 yards. I havent taken it to the range and shot it at 50 or 100 yet sense i dont have a quality scope to take a long shot like that. The scope is a cheap pellet gun scope i picked up at wal-mart for 30$ its a powerline 3-9x32 but it works for short shots ( i do plan on an upgrade before next fall.). These pics may be a little big and i do apologize if it takes some time to load. Also these groups where shot with a stump covered by a jacket for a rest and still has the heavy factory trigger pull. Would like to see some groups from some of you other .17 hmr shooters, i know this site has several who own .17s.

This black group is a bit hard to see in the picture but i thought id post it anyway.

this was i think the first group i shot and it was going good till the 3rd round [:' (]

This dime covered 2 of the 3 groups completly. My batteries started dieing just when i was gonna take a picture of the gun so i just hurried and got these loaded. ill pick up some more batteries tonite and post a picture of it later.

EDIT: Hope it works now, i think i figured out how to make them small enough when i uploaded them on msn groups.
