I was poking around and happened across this video of UFC champ Frank Mir talking about guns and personal defense. I like his attitude toward this issue, and I now, more than ever, wouldn't want to mess with this guy!

I just think that once you become a champion at that level of competition, you're always a champion even when you no longer hold the current title. Frank Mir is a wrecking machine, as are all the MMA fighters at his level. I still haven't seen the Lesner vs Couture fight. I DVR'd it but then the POS Mediacom DVR's hard drive decided to fail before I could watch it. Brock Lesner is a tank, and Couture was, IMO, a bit of a fool to get in the ring with a guy that has skill and dwarfed him. I wanted to see it not because I thought Couture would win, but rather to see how bad of a beating Lesner gave him.

I just thought it was nice that Mir had the guts to tell it how it is. I'm sure it won't make him very popular around the Holly-lib types, but he pretty much nailed it dead on.
