Default What Bases & Rings for Long Ranger 308

I just put a Remington 700 LTR 308 on hold at a gunshop about 110 miles from me. I'm going to go pick it up one of these days and was wondering what everyone would recommend for some long range bases/rings.

I have a Leupold Mark 4 LR/T scope with mil-dots for 168gr .308 bullets that will be going on top of this rifle.

This rifle is going to be set up for some long range metal banging, and an occasional whitetail/antelope.

Check out the Burris XTR rings that are very popular with many longrangers.

I was going to say Burris XTR rings as well.

That's what I have on most of my guns.

Check out the Dednutz one-piece units. I have them on my Ackley and I'm impressed with them...

A golf course is a willful and deliberate misuse of a perfectly good rifle range.

Long enough range to need a MOA built in to the baseor not?

I end up buying a Seekins 20MOA base and med rings for the rifle. Thanks to everyone who responded!

bigbulls- I plan on stretching this rifle out to at least a 1/2 mile if its up to it.....The shooter that is.
