Scope suggestions for Ruger Mini 30

Just got a new Ruger Mini 30. Any suggestions on a scope for it?Will use for targets and goofing off, may also hunt wooded area with shotsfrom 10-100yards. Also, if anyone hunts deer with it, what type of ammo do you use, and what type of groups can I expect?

Considering the short range you're going to be shooting, I'd recommend a 2x-7x and keep it turned down all the way when hunting. For sighting it in, or plinking, you'll have plenty of time to turn it up.
